Mentoring Program Agreement

Books by A.M. Luzzader — Weekly Small Group Mentoring (Monthly Membership)

THIS AGREEMENT IS NOT APPLICABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE ONLY PURCHASED BOOKS. THIS AGREEMENT IS ONLY FOR CUSTOMERS PURCHASING A MONTHLY MENTORING MEMBERSHIP.

By purchasing a membership to this program and participating in the Weekly Small Group Mentoring program, you agree to the following terms. Please read this agreement carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Program Description

The Weekly Small Group Mentoring program provides monthly access to weekly live group sessions via video conference. Sessions are designed to answer questions and provide mentoring advice about writing, publishing, marketing, and building a sustainable author business. Sessions are not intended for individualized deep dives into advertising consoles or personal ad account reviews or deep manuscript reviews. A separate service is available for those purposes. Group size is capped at 12 participants to ensure a high-quality experience for all participants.

2. No Guarantee of Results

Participation in this program does not guarantee success, income, sales, or any specific outcome. Publishing and business success depends on many factors, including but not limited to the participant’s individual effort, consistency, market conditions, timing, and circumstances outside anyone’s control. Results will vary from person to person. This is not a get-rich-quick program. Building a successful publishing business takes time, continuous effort, and a willingness to learn and adapt over the long term.

3. Limitation of Liability

A.M. Luzzader, LLC, Amanda Luzzader (also known as A.M. Luzzader), and Chadd VanZanten shall not be held responsible for any lack of results, financial loss, or business outcomes arising from participation in this program. The mentors provide guidance based on personal experience and knowledge, and do not claim to have all the answers or expertise in every area of publishing and business. Nothing shared in this program constitutes legal, financial, or tax advice. Participants are encouraged to consult qualified professionals for advice in those areas.

4. Membership Cost and Billing

The membership is $200.00 USD per month, billed automatically from the participant’s purchase date. The membership provides access to all weekly sessions that fall within the participant’s billing period. Sessions are held on Thursdays. On occasions such as holidays or unavoidable scheduling conflicts, a session may be rescheduled to a different day with advance notice provided to all participants. The membership fee is non-refundable for sessions missed by the participant.

5. Program Discontinuation

In the unlikely event that A.M. Luzzader, LLC discontinues the program entirely, participants will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of their current billing period. Participants will be given reasonable advance notice of any discontinuation.

6. Session Access and Questions

Participants will receive a link to the video conference session via email prior to each meeting. To ensure questions can be addressed during the session, participants are encouraged to submit their questions by Wednesday night before each Thursday session by emailing contact@amluzzader.com.

7. Live Sessions and Recording Policy

All sessions are conducted live. Sessions are not recorded by the host and are not available for replay at this time. Participants are strictly prohibited from recording sessions in any format, including but not limited to audio, video, or screen capture. Violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from the program without refund.

8. Confidentiality

What is shared within the group stays within the group. Participants agree to keep confidential any personal, business, or financial information shared by other participants during sessions. This confidentiality obligation continues after the membership ends.

9. Intellectual Property

Content, strategies, and advice shared during sessions are for the participant’s personal use only. Participants may not share, reproduce, redistribute, or resell any program content in any form without express written permission from A.M. Luzzader.

10. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to treat fellow participants and the mentors with respect. Disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful behavior will not be tolerated. A.M. Luzzader, LLC, Amanda Luzzader (also known as A.M. Luzzader), and Chadd VanZanten reserve the right to remove any participant from the program without a refund at any time for conduct violations.

11. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Memberships renew automatically each month. To cancel your membership, email contact@amluzzader.com with the subject line “Mentoring Cancellation Request” and your full name and membership email address. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Partial refunds for unused sessions within a billing period are not provided. Missed sessions are not refundable or transferable.

Cancellations may be made at any time and will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to sessions through the end of the month you have paid for. Cancellations do not entitle members to a partial refund for unused sessions within a billing period.

Exception: If you cancel within 7 days of your billing date and have not attended any sessions in that billing period, you may request a full refund by contacting us directly.

Missed sessions are not refundable or transferable.

Canceled sessions by the host will be rescheduled at a mutually agreeable time. Sessions are not recorded.

12. Dispute Resolution

Participants agree to attempt resolution through good-faith mediation before initiating any legal action against A.M. Luzzader, LLC, Amanda Luzzader, or Chadd VanZanten. A.M. Luzzader, LLC reserves the right to seek immediate legal remedy, including injunctive relief, without prior mediation.

13. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes not resolved through mediation shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Utah.

14. Program Changes

A.M. Luzzader, LLC, reserves the right to modify session format, scheduling, content, or program structure at any time with reasonable advance notice to participants.

15. Eligibility

This program is intended for participants 18 years of age or older.

16. Agreement

By completing your purchase and participating in the Weekly Small Group Mentoring program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this Mentoring Program Agreement.
