Weekly Small Group Mentoring (Monthly membership)

What You Get

A monthly membership that gives you weekly access to two experienced authors and publishing professionals who have actually done this: written the books, run the ads, navigated traditional publishing, and built a self-publishing business from scratch. Mentors will provide guidance, tips, instructions, and encouragement as well as assistance with goal setting.

Membership is $200.00 USD per month, billed automatically. Cancel anytime by emailing contact@amluzzader.com. See subscription details in the Mentoring Group Agreement.

Each week we meet via video conference for a 50-minute small group session on Thursdays at 6:00 PM MST / 8:00 PM EST. Submit your top questions by email by Wednesday night before each session, and every effort will be made to address at least your top question during the meeting.

Members also receive access to a private Facebook group where you can connect with fellow members, and where A.M. Luzzader and Chadd VanZanten regularly share articles, tips, and publishing insights.

We cover a wide range of topics, including:

Craft: Brainstorming, plotting, outlining, writing, revision, editing, and overcoming writer's block

Publishing: Self-publishing, querying agents, pitching to publishers, traditional publishing, direct sales, Shopify, book cover and design decisions, and pricing strategy

Marketing and Business: Amazon ads, Facebook ads, email list building, direct sales, selling wide, audiobooks, and building a sustainable writing career. Please note that sessions are not intended for individualized reviews of ad consoles or campaigns — a separate service is available for that.

Life as an Author: The real day-to-day experience of working authors

Group size is capped at 12 members to keep the conversation personal and make sure every question gets real attention.

Your Group Mentors:

A.M. Luzzader specializes in children's books and adult fiction. She is a successful self-published author with nearly 50 published titles across multiple series, having sold over 500,000 books. She recently signed a traditional publishing deal for 24 books with Sourcebooks, a Big 5 publisher, giving her firsthand experience in both self-publishing and traditional publishing. She is an Amazon Ads expert, a multiple recipient of the Amazon All-Star Bonus, and has accumulated over 3 million Kindle Unlimited pages read. She has experience selling both on Amazon and through direct sales channels. A former editor and grant writer, she served as President of the League of Utah Writers and was named Utah Writer of the Year for 2019-2020.
